Pupil Premium Grant
The Government believes that the Pupil Premium funding, which is additional to the main school funding, is the best way to address inequalities between children eligible for free school meals and those children who are not. The Government has introduced an Early Years Pupil Premium Grant for nursery age children of £300 per pupil. The extra funding is to improve the quality of Early Years education for disadvantaged three and four year olds.
